BIOGRAPHY

Chris* was called to the Saskatchewan Bar and British Columbia bar in 2012. He holds a BFA, B.Ed, and J.D.

He practices criminal defence, with a broad range of practice areas, from minor thefts and property offences to drug offences to murder charges. Chris also specializes in areas related to criminal law such as extradition law, parole hearings and civil forfeiture. He also maintains a civil litigation practice with a focus on advocacy for the victims of police and correctional staff violence.

Chris is the Board Chairperson for Ruth and Naomi’s Mission in Chilliwack, sits on the Board of Directors of Prisoner’s Legal Services and is a member of the Canadian Prison Lawyers Association and Trial Lawyers Association of BC.

Chris lives in Yarrow with his wife, three children and donkey, George. When not practising law, Chris can be found pulling weeds in the garden, fishing at the river or tending his beehives.
