KATHERINE SHORTREED

BIOGRAPHY

Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the University of British Columbia. While at law school Katherine served as a student director with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program.

Katherine was called to the bar in 2015. She has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court, Supreme Court of British Columbia, and Tax Court of Canada, as well as various administrative boards including the Parole Board and prison disciplinary hearings at the provincial and federal level.

Katherine works in a variety of practice areas including prison law, family law, human rights, wrongful dismissal, administrative law, and health care consent.

Katherine lives in Vancouver. She enjoys rock climbing and hiking in her spare time.
